InventureIT, a tech company in Savannah, has launched a program to benefit local high school and college students as well as clients. The company’s “5 ships” approach includes internship, apprenticeship, scholarship, mentorship, and relationship. InventureIT’s division, SALT, offers technology solutions developed by apprentices who work with experienced software developers to grow their skills. SALT’s internship program is open to high school juniors and seniors, while its apprenticeship program is open to college students who have completed at least two relevant courses. SALT is also involved in mentorship and scholarship programs. InventureIT COO Stacey Roach believes the company’s efforts will build value for its organization and clients while also providing an advantage for the local community in today’s technology-focused economy.
